ffmpeg.exe conflicts with other ffmpeg.exe

Postby FrankNatoli » Tue Apr 11, 2017 8:19 pm

Running multiple concurrent ffmpeg.exe, separate processes, different input files in same source folder. With only two concurrent ffpmeg processes, no problem, output MP4 is clean. But with three or more concurrent ffmpeg processes, many frames are lost, many frames are corrupted, indications are the concurrent ffmpeg.exe are having fratricidal effects. Are there temp files that ffmpeg.exe creates that may conflict with a simultaneous concurrent ffmpeg.exe? How to avoid this? Set different default folders when instantiating the ffmpeg.exe processes?

How can this issue be duplicated? Please provide exact commands.
Get an answer more quickly by providing your actual ffmpeg command and the complete console output. Use the code button to format your command and output or your question will be ignored.
