FFmpeg is in a state of perpetual development and we do not currently have the person power to backport fixes to official releases. As such, if you wish to query or report a bug, you must try with the latest development branch revision of FFmpeg to confirm the issue still exists. I would like to set a playlist (or even a directory) of videos to transcode and stream using ffmpeg, is this possible?

not right now, but it is very easy to implement it using shell script (batch script)
read more on for/while loops in batch scripts (BAT files for windows or shell scripts for linux)
the most likely solution will be something like this:

Linux (script.sh):
Code: Select all
for f in *.avi
   ffmpeg -i $f ... (options) ... $f.out.avi

Windows (script.bat):
Code: Select all
for %%f in (*.avi) do ffmpeg -i %%f ... (options) ... %%f.out.avi
