ffserver to stream a video from webcam to Android

Postby xav12358 » Tue Apr 04, 2017 7:19 am

I just want to grab a ffserver stream with my smartphone. On compute it works properly. I setup my ffserver and I get with vlc the stream with an other computer. With my smartphone I set the adress but vlc tell me he can get the video from the stream.

Is there a specific way to grab video from ffserver on Android?

Here is the command I use to execute the stream on my computer:
Code: Select all
ffserver -f /etc/ffserver.conf
ffmpeg -v verbose -f video4linux2  -r 25 -s 1280x720 -i /dev/video2

I can grab the stream on an other computer on VLC but on Android it is impossible. Why?
